No. 8 LSU will hit the road on Friday night for an SEC dual meet against No. 23 Arkansas. The Razorbacks have had a tough start to the season with an overall record of 1-2 and a conference record of 0-2. The team is coming off a 196.675-197.500 loss against No. 5 Auburn last week. The Razorbacks made improvements in the dual meet and set new season highs on bars (49.225), vault (49.325), floor (49.300) while also earning a new season-high mark as a team with a 196.675. Despite keeping the score within a tenth of a point through three rotations, the team came up just short.

The Tigers come into Friday night's meet with an overall record of 1-3 and a conference record of 1-2. The team is coming off of a win against No. 12 Missouri in a 197.150-196.525 victory. The Tigers started off strong on vault with a season-high 49.475 on the event highlighted by a perfect score from Haleigh Bryant. Elena Arenas led off with a strong 9.825 followed by Alyona Shchennikova who earned a 9.875. Chase Brock scored a season-high 9.850 in the third spot as well as KJ Johnson who scored a 9.900. Aleah Finnegan added another 9.850 before Bryant anchored with a 10 to take the title.
