Following Quinnipiac's loss in the season-opener to Boston College, the Bobcats have been undefeated going 4-0-1 in the last five games. The only draw out of those five games came against Northeastern in which each team scored twice. Most recently, the Bobcats were able to pick up a 5-0 win over Sacred Heart. The Crimson have had a tougher start to the season going 2-2 in their first four games. With the exception of their first 2-0 win against Central Connecticut, every one of the Crimson's games has been decided by one goal. Most recently, Harvard dropped a 3-2 game to Northeastern. Senior Martin Vician scored a brace in the match to give Harvard a 2-1 lead going into halftime, but a pair of goals in the second half for Northeastern secured the win.
The only time these two teams met was last season and resulted in a 1-0 win for Quinnipiac.
