The network launched in 1987 under the name Movietime, with its original focus being on movie trailers, events and awards. The channel later grew to have a wider lens in terms of how it covered entertainment, with an expanded focus on celebrity gossip and fashion. The network's most popular series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, premiered in 2007 and ended in 2021. The network is also known for its long-running E! True Hollywood Story series.

The Kardashians have left E!, but there's still a lot of reality programming to watch, including The Bradshaw Bunch, which focuses on former NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw and his family.
