With five weeks before the Canadian Football League pllayoffs begin, the BC Lions (9-4) look to return to winning form tonight when they host the Ottawa Redblacks (3-10), whose offense has sputtered of late. The Redblacks are in search of their first road win of the 2022 season. In their first meeting of the season, the Lions squeaked out a three-point win in the nation’s capital 34-31 back in week four. The Lions have dropped two of their last three games, including last week's 25-11 home loss to Calgary that saw the Lions fail to get into the endzone until the final minute of the game.

Former University of Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams, Jr. joined the Lions via trade from Montreal in late August and has yet to throw a touchdown pass in his first four games with the team.
Redblacks quarterback Nick Arbuckle has also had his struggles since landing in a new spot, throwing five interceptions to just one touchdown in eight games in Ottawa since coming over from Edmonton.
This will mark the 75th all-time meeting between the teams with the Lions owning a 49-23-2 edge, including 27-7 all-time in games played in Vancouver.
