Xander Schauffele shot up the leaderboard with a second round 63 to put himself just two shots behind the leader entering the weekend.
Through two rounds, Schffler has eight birdies, an eagle and just one bogey on his card through 36 holes. He came in with a two stroke lead based on his season play, but has also played the course very well to start the TOUR Championship.
Schauffele and Rahm have just played a bit better and would be in the lead if not for the stroke advantage rules in this event.
Through two rounds, Shauffele has 11 birdies, two bogeys and an eagle that would have him in the lead in a normal tournament. Rahm would be right behind him with him with 13 birdies and just three bogeys overall.
