Schenk shot a 67 in the third round to climb up to the top of the leaderboard and put himself in a position to win the Charles Schwab Challenge.

In that third round, Schenk finished with a 67 overall behind four birdies and only one bogey on his card. That was good enough for three under par to close the gap with Hall for a share of the lead.

Hall showed during the first two rounds he has control of this course with 14 birdies and two bogeys on his card.
