The Breeders' Cup Challenge Series is an opportunity for a multitude of thoroughbred horses to compete in a race for the chance that the winner heads onto the Breeders' Cup World Championships. The world championships are being held at Keeneland Race Track in Lexington, Kentucky, on November 4-5, 2022. This race today will be two challenges: the Coolmore Turf Mile and the Claiborne Breeders' Futurity. The Coolmore Turf Mile, a part of the FanDuel Mile division, will feature horses Casa Creed, Annapolis and Modern Games. That race will also have Regal Glory, Princess Grace, Shirl's Speight, Smooth Like Strait, Atone, Ivar, Somelikeithotbrown, Pogo, Order of Australia, Dreamloper, Kinross and Saffron Beach.

The Claiborne Breeders' Futurity is a part of the FanDuel Juvenile division and will feature Blazing Sevens, Forte and Curly Jack.
It will also include Andiamo A Firenze, Congruent, Two Phil's, Top Recruit, Cave Rock, Carmel Road and Awesome Strong.
Ivar is the favorite to win the Coolmore Turf Mile at 73-to-one odds. In the Claiborne Breeders' Futurity race, Forte is the favorite to come away with the victory while Carmel Road is a favorite to place.
