Jacksonville got on the board early in the first but Norfolk to the lead with a two-run fourth. The score was tied heading into the seventh until Jacksonville scored four runs. Norfolk starter Drew Rom walked the first three batters of the inning and the bullpen wasn't able to bail him out from there. Bryson Brigman was the MVP of the game getting three hits, scoring three runs and driving in two runs that broke the tie in the seventh.
Righty Jeff Lindgren who is 3-3 with a 5.20 ERA will get the start for Jacksonville. Norfolk will also start a right-hander Chris Vallimont who is 6-6 with a 5.32 ERA. Several ties will be broken tonight between these division rivals in the season finale.
