Getting the start tonight for Houston is Framber Valdez (12-4, 2.72 ERA), who is looking for his fifth win in his last six starts and is undefeated in August with a 2.21 ERA over 20.1 innings.
Valdez has gone deep into his starts, pitching at least six innings in 20 consecutive appearances.
Dylan Bundy (7-5, 4.60 ERA) goes for his second straight win after allowing only two hits and one earned run over 5.1 inning against the Rangers last week. Today’s start will be his first of the season against the Astros.
