After a 14-2 win in the opener, the White Sox came back down to earth in game two but still got the win by a score of 5-3. But Chicago really came back down to earth in eight innings, not scoring a single run after an offensive explosion the day before. The Sox scored all five of their runs in the ninth. The inning was capped by a two-run double by former Athletic Elvis Andrus to break the 3-3 tie. The Sox had a huge rally as they only had three hits before the ninth.
The Sox will go for the series win today by starting Lance Lynn who is 5-5 with a 4.34 ERA. The A's will try to bounce back by starting Adrian Martinez who is 4-3 with a 4.37 ERA.
