The Philadelphia Phillies will look to end their three-game losing streak and salvage a game in this series against the Atlanta Braves. Atlanta will look for the series sweep today. More importantly, they will try to keep pace with the New York Mets in a tight race to the top of the NL East. The Braves only sit one game out of first. While the Braves won easily on Friday, the second game of the series was incredibly close with Atlanta winning 4-3. The Mets aren't relenting either winning both of their games of the weekend as well. Ronald Acuna Jr. was singlehandedly responsible for the Braves win on Saturday. He drove in all four runs for Atlanta initially putting the Braves up 4-0. He hit a two-run homer and a double that drove in another two runs.

The Braves won the World Series without Acuna last year. The thought of them having their best player back this year is even scarier. The Phillies scored three unanswered but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback.
The Phillies will attempt a comeback today and keep their second Wild Card spot advantage over San Diego by starting Bailey Falter. The lefty is 5-3 with a 3.80 ERA. Atlanta will once again be tough to beat as they start Spencer Strider who is 10-5 with a 2.72 ERA. Can the Braves climb atop the NL East today?
