His addition into the starting rotation is only going to further bolster the Astros playoff chances alongside veteran Justin Verlander returning from the injured list.
Corey Kluber (10-9, 4.44 ERA) gets the start for the Ray in search of his first win in his last three starts after back-to-back appearances where he allowed 10 earned runs in six-and-one-third innings pitched.
Rays catcher Christian Bethancourt enters on an eight-game hitting streak and is hitting .361 with two home runs and three RBIs in his last 10 games.
