How to Watch Mariners at Royals: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

The Seattle Mariners look to pad their AL Wild Card lead when they start a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals.

Things are looking great for the Seattle Mariners to make the playoffs for the first time since 2001. They are going to have to keep up the pressure against the Kansas City Royals this weekend as this three-game series starts today. The Mariners currently hold the third Wild Card spot with a four-game lead over the Baltimore Orioles. Baltimore has won their last two games so this series is imperative for Seattle. There is a chance though for the Mariners to gain some distance as the O's play the dominant Houston Astros. Seattle took care of business on Thursday against Oakland winning 9-5 but that was to avoid a series sweep against the A's who have the worst record in the AL.

The game came at a cost as well as rookie sensation Julio Rodriguez left with back tightness. Will he get back in time for the M's to finish this last stretch of the season strong?

The Mariners won't have a break against the Royals as they are coming off sweeping the Minnesota Twins. KC will look to keep up their winning streak by starting Brady Singer who is 9-4 with a 3.07 ERA. The Mariners will put up Marco Gonzalez who is 10-14 with a 4.01 ERA. Can the Royals get the upset here tonight?
