How to Watch Rays at Red Sox: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

The Tampa Bay Rays will look to bounce back in this series against the Boston Red Sox and try to climb in the AL Wild Card standings.

It is looking more and more likely that the Tampa Bay Rays are going to finish as the sixth seed in the AL Playoff race. They are two games behind the Seattle Mariners with just two games left after they dropped the series opener 4-3 against the Boston Red Sox. The Rays were up 3-0 in the game but the bullpen surrendered the lead and will likely play AL Central-winning Cleveland Guardians come the postseason. The Red Sox look to play spoiler even more by winning the series tonight against their AL East rival.

Pulling Tyler Glasnow early backfired big time for the Rays on Monday. The ace was making his first appearance after recovering from Tommy John surgery. He only gave up two hits but only pitched 3.2 innings. The Red Sox took advantage of reliever Kevin Herget scoring all four runs off him, including three in the sixth. Now the Rays have lost five of their last six games at the worst possible time.

Tampa will try to find some momentum in the second to last game of the season when the team will start Jeffery Springs (9-4, 2.45 ERA). The Red Sox recently got Nathan Eovaldi (5-3, 4.05 ERA) back from a rehab stint and the righty will get the start tonight to finish the Sox season on a high note.
