BRAVE Combat Federation returns to the octagon on Wednesday with a five-fight card at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain that includes a pair of title fights. The vacant super welterweight (175-pound) world championship will be filled, while bantamweight (135-pound) world champion Brad Katona defends his title for the first time. The undercard features another super welterweight bout as well, as a featherweight (145 pounds) bout and one catchweight contest. The main event for the super welterweight belt features Ismail Naurdiev (22-5) and Marcin Bandel (21-7). Gamzat Magomedov (8-1) challenges Katona (11-2) in the other title fight on Wednesday.

Katona claimed the vacant bantamweight title on March 11 with a split decision over Hamza Kooheji in the first five-round bout of his career. The Canadian fights out of Ireland and has been with BRAVE CF since April 2021. Magomedov's last fight was a unanimous decision over Borislav Nikolic in Bonn, Germany on Aug. 6, and he has won his last five bouts.
Naurdiev, born in Chechnya and raised in Austria, has won two straight fights, including a first-round TKO over Bekten Zeenbekov in Bukhara, Uzbekistan on June 18. Bandel is from Lodz, Poland, and has won three straight bouts, last taking down Luis Felipe Dias by unanimous decision on April 30 in Incheon, South Korea.
The rest of the card includes a catchweight fight at 170 pounds featuring Abbas Khan (3-1) and Michael Reali (2-1), featherweights Nemat Abdrashitov (17-8) and Marcos Vinicius Costa (10-5) and super welterweights Kamal Magomedov (9-0) and Olli Santalahti (13-4).
