Utah has started off the season with three straight huge wins, all against playoff-caliber teams as this rebuild might be over already:
The Utah offense has been on fire this year, led by Lauri Markkanen with 24.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game on 48-30-100 splits. He has an array of shooters and gunners around him that have the offense playing at a very high level.
So far through three games, Utah is leading the league in three-point makes, assists and steals per game allowing them to get easy points in transition and from behind the line.
Five different players are making two or more three-pointers per game: Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, Kelly Olynyk, Malik Beasley and Mike Conley.
On the other side, the Rockets are winless and the worst defense in the league, but have been competitive as they develop their system, young players and young head coach for the future.
