He left after three minutes in their win over the Phoenix Suns (99-95), leaving the offense to Spencer Dinwiddie who stepped up with 26 points, nine assists and six rebounds. That was a much-needed win for Dallas who over their last 12 games had gone 4-8 overall without back-to-back wins. They hit the road today to take on the Utah Jazz (25-26), who are looking for a second win in a row for the first time since the first game of the new year.

Dallas has ruled Doncic (ankle) out along with Christian Wood (thumb) and Maxi Kleber (hamstring).
They will look to their young athletes in Josh Green and Jaden Hardy, both of whom have looked good in spurts this season, but in much smaller roles.
On the other side, Utah continues to play scrappy and keep its heads above water for the play-in tournament for the Western Conference. The Jazz are the 10th seed today, but just one and a half games out of the sixth seed.
