NFL Primetime Schedule 2022: TV Channels for Sunday, Monday, Thursday Night Games

The landscape for NFL prime-time games looks a little different this year, with networks new and old hosting Thursday, Sunday and Monday Night Football broadcasts. For the 2022–23 season, Thursday Night Football will air on a streaming service for the first time ever, while Sunday Night Football stays with NBC and Monday’s prime time slot airs on ESPN. 

Here is a schedule of the prime time games each week on Thursday, Sunday and Monday that have been announced for the season, as well as how to watch them weekly. Plus, find out which of your favorites broadcasters will be in the booth for each matchup. 

Thursday Night Football

  • Live stream: Amazon Prime

Thursday Night Football will air on Amazon Prime this year instead of Fox, which has been the home of the weekly event in the past. 

The broadcast booth for TNF is slated to include Al Michaels, who will do the play-by-play, and Kirk Herbstreit, who will provide color commentary. In addition, Kaylee Hartung has been hired by Amazon as the sideline reporter while Andrew Whitworth and Aqib Talib have signed on as contributors for pregame, halftime and postgame coverage.

Each game will air at 8:15 p.m. ET. Amazon’s Thursday night games begin in Week 2 of the 2022 season and continue through Week 17, with the exception of Week 12 (Thanksgiving Day), which will air on NBC.

Week 13, December 1: Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots

Sunday Night Football

TV Coverage and Weekly Schedule

Sunday Night Football will air on NBC each week and can be streamed live with fuboTV. This is NBC's 16th consecutive year hosting Sunday Night Football. 

NBC Sports announced its broadcast team for Sunday Night Football this year will feature Mike Tirico on play-by-play with Cris Collinsworth providing analysis. Melissa Stark will be the sideline reporter, after working as an NFL Network host and on ABC's Monday Night Football broadcast in the early 2000s.

Each game will air at 8:20 p.m. EST, with additional Thursday games in Week 1 and Week 12 that will be aired on NBC.

Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football will air on ESPN and can be streamed live with fuboTV

The fan-favorite duo of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman left Fox this past year to provide play-by-play and color commentary, respectively, for ESPN's MNF broadcasts. 

Each game will air at 8:15 p.m. EST, except in Week 2, when a second game will air on ABC.
