Robin Salo and the Islanders will take on Graeme Clark and the Devils in preseason hockey tonight.

The NHL Preseason is fully underway and continues today as the New York Islanders go on the road and take on the New Jersey Devils. The Islanders have played one preseason game to date, and they lost 4-1 to the Rangers. The Rangers went up 3-0 at the end of the first period with goals from Jimmy Vesel, Chris Kreider, and K'Andre Miller. Zac Jones added to that lead for New York in the second period going up 4-0. Robin Salo with assists from Ross Johnston and Andy Andreoff put the first goal of the preseason in for New York to save the shutout.

The Devils are 1-0 through their first game with a win on the road at the Canadiens. Montreal went up 1-0 in the first period after Cole Caufield scored with 12 minutes left in the period.

New Jersey came back after that and tied it up in the second period after Tomas Tatar scored on a power play. Graeme Clarke put the game-winning goal in the net with 14 minutes left in the third period. with an assist from Andreas Johnsson.
