How to Watch Stars at Canadiens: Stream NHL Live, TV Channel

The Montreal Canadiens look to stay undefeated at home when they host the Dallas Stars on Saturday.

The Montreal Canadiens are on a roll and it has to feel so good for this giant hockey town that went through tough times last season. A year removed from a Stanley Cup appearance, none of that momentum translated in the 2021-22 season as they had one of the worst records in the league. At least it translated into the top draft pick this year. It is still early but Montreal seems reinvigorated. The Canadiens have not lost at home so far and they'll look to keep it that way against the Dallas Stars tonight. The Canadiens are coming off a commanding victory against the lowly Arizona Coyotes.

Montreal had a glimpse of the future and it looks bright as their first overall draft pick Juraj Slafkovsky scored the first goal of his career. It was part of an offensive rout as the Canadiens won 6-2. Montreal scored the first five goals of the game to cruise to victory. The Stars, meanwhile, are coming off a tough loss on the road to Toronto in overtime.

At least they got a point but after Dallas scored the first goal of the game, it was a disappointing loss. The Stars tied it in the third period after Toronto scored the next two.

Nick Robertson scored the overtime winner which was his second goal of the night in what was his season debut. The Stars are a tough road team so far and they will give Montreal all of their money's worth tonight.
