The Golden Knights have won three straight games against the Rangers inside Madison Square Garden having not lost to New York since their inaugural season in 2017. In their last meeting in NYC, Jonathan Marchessault scored in the third round of the shootout to seal the victory for the Golden Knights.
The Rangers are led by winger Artemi Panarin’s 50 points, including a team high 38 assists. Panarin posted three assists in Monday’s 6-2 win at Florida.
New York goalie Igor Shesterkin is top ten in wins (21), save percentage (.918) and goals against average (2.46). The fourth round pick by the Rangers in the 2014 NHL Draft is on pace to break his career-high of 36 wins set last season.
