This event takes over Orlando from Thursday through Sunday with singles, traditional doubles and mixed doubles matches. The singles draw gets started today with amateur athletes taking the court, as well as the professionals. The Waters sisters and Johns brothers are all in action and ready to get the tournament started on Thursday.

Pickleball has exploded in popularity because of the fast-paced action, great play and stars that are raising the profile of the sport across the country and the world.
In the men’s singles draw the top ranked player is Ben Johns, who is also the top ranked men’s doubles player and the highest ranked men’s mixed doubles player in the world. He has spent this year becoming the best overall men’s pickleball player in the world.
Over in the women’s draw Anna Leigh Waters is on a similar trajectory this season. She is ranked No. 1 in women’s singles, mixed doubles and second in women’s doubles. Her and her sister are consistent favorites to get to the finals and win in all three events in every major PPA tournament.
