MUST WATCH:

College football: Florida State at Louisville

Florida State coach Mike Norvell

Week 3 of the college football season is here, and it gets underway with this key ACC clash between division rivals. FSU is looking for its first 3–0 start since 2015, headlined by a big Week 1 win over LSU. Considering coach Mike Norvell entered the year on the hot seat, that would be a nice step toward some stability inside the Seminoles’ program. Meanwhile, Scott Satterfield’s seat was heating up at Louisville after getting blown out in Week 1 at Syracuse, but a road win at UCF last Friday should at least temporarily calm the Cardinals’ fan base.

HIDDEN GEM:

Philadelphia Phillies at Atlanta Braves

The Braves are in the thick of a race for the NL East crown, right on the heels of the Mets. Major League Baseball’s playoff format makes earning that division title a huge advantage, and sitting just one game back means it’s there for Atlanta’s taking. It’ll have to navigate this tricky series with the Phillies this weekend, who are also in playoff position. Can Braves ace Max Fried get Atlanta off to a strong start in this key weekend set?
