No. 2 Kansas Takes on No. 13 Kansas State in Key Big 12 Clash
Wild-card weekend is officially in the books! A fun weekend of football came to an anticlimactic close (unless you love missed PATs) with the Cowboys’ dominating the Bucs to advance. Divisional-round action kicks off Saturday, but until then, enjoy an absolutely loaded night in college basketball that features two top-15 matchups in the Big 12. Plus, the Australian Open continues with second-round action, including Rafael Nadal in action tonight.
Here’s what I’m watching today.
MUST WATCH:
Men’s CBB: No. 2 Kansas at No. 13 Kansas State
This rivalry game in the Big 12 has extra implications this year with how good both teams have been so far this season. Kansas State is one of the sport’s biggest surprises, ranked in the top 15 in Jerome Tang’s first year at the helm thanks to star point guard Markquis Nowell and transfer wing Keyontae Johnson. Beating the defending national champion Jayhawks would be further proof that this Kansas State team is a legitimate Big 12 contender, but it won’t be easy against one of the most balanced teams in the country headlined by star forward Jalen Wilson.
