Nikola Jokic, Nuggets Face Off With Timberwolves in Western Conference Showdown

Plus, don’t miss more second-round action from the Australian Open.

After an action-packed night in college basketball yesterday, we get a chance to see a top MVP candidate in the NBA today. It’s a busy night in The Association, with nine games headlined by the Timberwolves and Nuggets facing off in Denver.

Also on tonight’s docket: top-25 showdowns in both men’s and women’s college basketball, more action at the Australian Open and Manchester United looking to stay hot in the Premier League.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

MUST WATCH:

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić

Minnesota Timberwolves at Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets lead the Western Conference, and Nikola Jokić leads the NBA’s MVP race (again). Can Denver keep the good vibes rolling tonight against a Timberwolves team jockeying for playoff position? Minnesota has played better basketball in January, winning six of seven games before stumbling Monday in a thriller against the Jazz. Having a big such as Rudy Gobert is a luxury in a matchup with Jokić, and the T-Wolves did win the season’s first meeting between these teams earlier this month.
