South Carolina Looks to Keep Undefeated Season Alive Against UConn

Plus, don’t miss the Pro Bowl’s flag football game.

In just one week we’ll be getting ready to watch the Eagles and Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. Until then, there’s plenty of sports to watch, and it all gets started today. Not only do we get to see the undefeated South Carolina women’s basketball team take on UConn, but we can also watch some of our favorite NFL players in a flag football game and see the final round of the PGA Tour’s tournament at Pebble Beach.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

Women’s CBB: No. 1 South Carolina at No. 5 UConn

After South Carolina earned last season’s national title with a 64–49 win over UConn, the Huskies will be out for revenge at home. But will UConn have enough depth to keep up with the undefeated Gamecocks, who have talent and experience up and down the roster? In Connecticut’s last game, a 10-point win over Providence on Wednesday night, Geno Auriemma’s starters played all but 27 combined minutes. Dawn Staley’s South Carolina, which beat Kentucky by 18 on Thursday, had 14 players see the court in the game with no one playing more than 23 minutes.
