Arizona State Continues NCAA Tournament Push vs. No. 4 UCLA

Plus, Kyrie Irving and the Mavericks take on the Sixers.

Donovan Mitchell and Jayson Tatum traded buckets all game, but eventually Tatum and the Celtics won out in a highly entertaining matchup last night. I’m all for a rematch come playoff time, though.

Today marks just 10 days until Selection Sunday in men’s college basketball, and several bubble teams are in action tonight. These are still regular-season games, but they have the feeling of single-elimination basketball, and I can’t wait to tune in.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

Men’s CBB: Arizona State at No. 4 UCLA

Arizona State vaulted itself into the projected NCAA tournament field on Desmond Cambridge Jr.’s half-court heave to beat Arizona over the weekend. Grabbing another top-10 win tonight would punch the Sun Devils’ ticket to the Big Dance. That may be easier said than done though, particularly considering UCLA has won eight straight games and is undefeated this season at Pauley Pavilion. These two teams played a highly competitive game in Tempe back in January and tonight’s should be similar.
