Auxerre is coming off of a 2-1 win over Montpellier on Sunday at Stade de la Mosson. Auxerre went down 1-0 in the first half, but were able to flip the scoreboard with two quick goals in the second half from Nuno da Costa (70') and Mathias Autret (75'). M'Baye Niang and da Costa later received red cards leaving the pair of attacking players unavailable for the match against Strasbourg on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Strasbourg is coming off of a 1-1 draw against Reims at home on Sunday, with Alexander Djiku scoring the club's only goal in the tie.
