The Hoyas have had a rough start to the season and only have one win under their belt so far this year. With a record of 1-2-2, they will be looking to pick up their second win of the season Friday night. In the Hoyas' most recent outing, they dropped a tight 2-1 game to Maryland. The Terps went up 2-0 in the first half and although the Hoyas fought to put one in during second-half play, they were unable to find the equalizer.

The Red Storm has also had a less-than-favorable start to the season with a record of 1-4-1.
Their lone win came against Lehigh with a 5-0 victory. Since then, the team has dropped a 1-0 decision to Indiana, played to a 1-1 draw against Loyola Maryland and, most recently, lost a 1-0 game to Columbia.
When these two teams met last season, Georgetown was victorious with a 2-1 win.
