Rutgers suffered its first loss of the season to Penn State earlier in the week so the Scarlet Knights should come out motivated from the first whistle. Prior to the game against the Nittany Lions, the Scarlet Knights were one of only two teams left in the nation with a perfect start to the season.
Last season, Rutgers beat the Terps 5-2 in Big Ten play.
