How to Watch Ecuador vs. South Korea: Stream 2023 Under-20 World Cup Live, TV Channel

The last 16 of the U-20 World Cup concludes with a clash between Ecuador and South Korea.

The final fixture of the 2023 U-20 World Cup round of 16 will take place on Thursday as Ecuador faces off against South Korea in a battle between two teams that were each semi-finalists in 2019. La Tricolor settled for bronze four years ago while the Tiger of Asia took the runner-up spot behind Ukraine, but only one will advance to have another chance at the last four this time around. Each nation boasts one win apiece in their head-to-head after only meeting for the first time in 2017, though South Korea drew blood more recently en route to its silver medal in Poland at the last World Cup.

Both Ecuador and South Korea qualified for the last 16 in Argentina by finishing second in Group B and Group F, respectively, with the former making a fantastic recovery from its opening defeat to the United States.

Miguel Bravo’s men backed up that disappointment with a 2-1 victory over Slovakia followed by a 9-0 thrashing of Fiji, which is likely to remain the widest win by any team at this tournament:

Included on the score sheet in that triumph was 16-year-old Kendry Paez, the 16-year-old Independiente del Valle midfielder reportedly on the radar of Premier League powerhouse Chelsea.

Kim Eun-jung’s side have seen their momentum move in the opposite direction after opening the campaign with a 2-1 win over France.

The Asian representatives have since sealed back-to-back draws against Honduras and a very impressive Gambia team, making them the only unbeaten team to finish second in their pool.

Regional restrictions may apply.
