Takanashi of Japan wins 7th straight women's ski jump WCup

OBERSTDORF, Germany (AP) Sara Takanashi of Japan won her seventh women's ski jumping World Cup in succession and her second in as many days on Sunday.

The 19-year-old Takanashi was best with both her jumps, soaring 102.5 and then 97.0 meters for 271.2 points, leaving Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria to repeat her second-place finish from Saturday.

Iraschko-Stolz had two jumps of 98.0 meters for 257.6 points, ahead of Norway's Maren Lundby on 254.1 and Slovenia's Ema Klinec on 253.2.

Jacqueline Seifriedsberger of Austria was fifth with 251.5.

With her eighth win of the season, Takanashi increased her lead in the World Cup standings. She has 880 points, ahead of Iraschko-Stolz on 599.
