Men's ski jump cancelled due to bad weather

OSLO, Norway (AP) The men's individual ski jump World Cup competition was cancelled on Sunday due to bad weather conditions.

The competition started on time but there were only two jumps before a decision was eventually made to cancel the event, on a day dominated by strong wind and dense fog in the Norwegian capital.

There was poor visibility during Saturday evening's team event, which was won by a Slovenian team led by the individual competition leader Peter Prevc.

He will have a chance to extend his lead when the competition resumes in Trondheim on Tuesday and Wednesday.
