NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) Skipper Harry Price of Australia won six races Wednesday to take sole possession of the lead at 13-0 in the Governor's Cup International Youth Match Race Championship at Balboa Yacht Club.

Price, the 2015 regatta champion, remains in position to join seven other sailors as two-time winners of the oldest youth match racing regatta in the world.

In the day's featured race, Price and his two-man crew beat local favorite Christophe Killian. Price and Killian came into the day tied at 7-0.

The two hadn't sailed against each other since last year's Governor's Cup, when Killian beat Price for third place.

Killian is 11-2. Behind him in the 12-boat fleet are New Zealand's Leonard Takahashi and prior Governor's Cup semifinalist Chris Weis from Del Rey Yacht Club. Both are 9-4.
