Yvonne Leslie, attractive, blonde Indianapolis golfer, scored a hole-in-one on 112-yard par-3 seventh hole at the Sea Island (Ga.) Golf Course using a four-iron (in January), duplicated the feat a month later on the same hole using the same four-iron.

Tony Godfrey, London aircraft draftsman, won U.S. Motorcycle Club's International Grand Prix at Daytona Beach, Fla. with borrowed cycle, did 40 laps around 3.1-mile course in 90.6-mph average speed, finished ahead of Buddy Parriott of La Puente, Calif.

Charlotte Lee of Short Hills, N.J. teamed with James Gordon of Chatham, N.J. to take national mixed doubles platform tennis title at Darien, Conn., beating Ted Winpenny of New Canaan, Conn., Louise Raymond of Scarsdale, N.Y., 8-6, 6-2.

Peter Mylenki, junior at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, N.J., bowled 300 game against Our Lady Queen of Peace of North Arlington, N.J., later bowled 211 and 257 games for 256 average, admitted he was so scared "all I could see was my spot."

A. W. Davis, 6-foot 7-inch senior at Rutledge (Tenn.) H.S., scored 41 points in next-to-last regular season basketball game, broke Tennessee high school season scoring record (formerly held by NBA Star Bailey Howell), amassed 1,182 points in 32 games.

Thompson Mann, freshman at the University of North Carolina, set two national collegiate freshman swim records in four days, churned through 200-yard backstroke in 2:08.3 (old record: 2:09.6) and 100-yard backstroke in 57.0 (old record: 57.1).
