No matter how they slice it, golf for some intrepid enthusiasts is more fun than form. For 50¢ at the Studio City driving range in Los Angeles, Sunday drivers like those shown here can get a bucket of balls and fire at will, letting the chips fall where they may. Perhaps no one will ever know how the ball; the club and the lady wielding it in the third picture from the left assumed their relative positions. But since all of the girls seem to be enjoying themselves, more power to them. Let Jerry Barber worry about proper iron form (see page 32).
