MAPLE CITY, MICH.
Colleen, a senior at Glen Lake High School, had an 18-1-1 pitching record in leading the Lakers to the Class D girls' regional softball playoffs. She had an 0.37 ERA, 181 strikeouts, eight no-hitters and four one-hitters. She hit .585 with seven homers.

Tim, a junior center-fielder at Holland Hall High, set the national high school record for stolen bases with 69 (in 72 attempts) in only 25 games. A leadoff hitter, he batted .397 and was named to both the all-city and all-metro squads.
Myrtle, a senior at Laurel High, won four gold medals in the Maryland high school track championships. She finished first in the high jump (5'4"), long jump (17-0) and the 100-and 300-meter hurdles (14.3 and 44.5
Michael, a 10th-grader at Camp Le Jeune High, won the National Explorer Air Gun title for the second successive year, in Colorado Springs. He broke Ms own record for overall marksmanship by scoring 819 of a possible 1,000 points.

Stearns, 24, holds three records in parachuting-women's accuracy, day and night landings and style. Since 1975 she has won 15 national and international titles, and is the only female competitor on the Army parachute team.
Dravis, 42, who was recently named national high school wrestling coach of the year, has a 170-18 record in 17 seasons at Staples High. In that time, the Cardinals have won 10 district, nine regional and two state championships.
