Clinton, a senior at Steel Valley High, won the 200-meter dash at the junior Pan-Am Games in Venezuela in 20.39. He holds state high school records in the 100 (10.57) and the 400 (46.29) and the national prep mark in the 300 (34.10).

Bauer, 66, has coached the Scituate High girls' tennis team to a 379-6 record over the past 32 years, winning 16 Old Colony League titles and two state crowns. The current Sailor win streak stands at 120, the last loss having come in 1975.
Justin, 15, rolled an 871 four-game series to earn the top qualifying position and then defeated Wayne Stellick 236-194 to win the 15-to-19-year-old open scratch division of the National Youth Bowling Championships in Washington, D.C.
Hobbs, 19, a sophomore at Wright State University in her hometown, led the Raiders women's softball team in 11 categories, pitched two no-hitters, had an ERA of 1.77 and batted .471, the highest percentage in the NCAA's Division II.
Pitcher, 80, a retired coach, won eight gold medals in the 80-and-over category at the national masters track and field meet, setting age-group world records in the pole vault (5'8"), triple jump (21'8") and 200-meter dash (36.2).
Dianne, 14, finished first in the vault and floor exercise and second in the uneven parallel bars to win the national junior women's gymnastics championship in Salt Lake City. She is the youngest member of the U.S. women's team.
