Toney, a 5'6" sophomore defenseman on the Northeastern women's hockey team, scored a hat trick in a 50-second span of the third period during the Huskies' 5-2 win over Dartmouth. She scored 15 goals this season for 17-6 Northeastern.

Maurice, a senior at St. Paul's Episcopal, won the outstanding male performance trophy at the state indoor track meet. He set Alabama A-AA marks in the 440 and 880 (50.44 and 2:03.5, respectively) and won the long jump (21'2½").

Pam, a 6-foot senior forward on the 18-2 Marian High girls' basketball team, set a Nebraska girls' high school single-season shooting percentage record by making 170 of 247 shots (69%). She averaged 18.6 points a game.

Bill, a 6'1" senior guard who this season made 52% of his shots at Council Rock High, converted 23 of 33 attempts from the field and 9 of 9 free throws to score 55 points in the Indians' 86-77 loss to Truman High of Levittown.

ANNANDALE, N.J.
Jamie, a ninth-grader at North Hunterdon High, bicycled to a U.S. age-group (12 to 14) record in a one-mile time trial in Coconut Grove, Fla. He rode out and back on a half-mile straightaway in 2:16.41, breaking the old mark by 6.07 seconds.
