Johnson, 56, basketball coach at Chipola Junior College for 23 years, got his 600th win (against 278 losses) in his 30 seasons with a 77-67 victory over Chattahoochee Valley C. C. His Indians finished second in the nation in 1974.

Michon, a senior at Cardinal Gibbons High, led the volleyball team to a 39-0 record and the state 3A title. She made 93% of her spikes, 97% of her serves and 98% of her sets. In the state finals she converted on nine of 10 spikes.
Chris, a senior quarterback, amassed 9,472 yards of total offense (5,277 yards passing and 4,195 rushing) in his four years at Paradise High. He passed for 64 touchdowns and ran for another 61. Of the 125 TDs, 53 came in his junior year.
BATON ROUGE, LA.
Kenny, 16, set a national Junior Olympic record for 14- and 15-year-olds in the 181-pound division with a 237-pound snatch at the Louisiana Christmas Weightlifting Championship. He led the Gayle Hatch club to victory over seven teams.
Luke, 18, an ambidextrous tennis player, won the U.S. boys' 18-and-under clay-court and hard-court titles and the Italian Junior Open. He was one of three members of an American team that won the 44-team International Sunshine Cup.
Denise, a junior sprinter at Kingsway Regional High, was named to three 1984 high school All-America track teams and led the Dragons to a second-place finish at the state meet by winning the 100 and 200 meters and the 100 hurdles.
