FAN BURNOUT

EDITED BY Craig Neff

It really isn't funny, especially to Ray Collins. Two weeks ago,
Collins, a Navy electronics technician stationed in San Diego, was
out mowing his lawn while listening to a Padres-Astros game on his
radio headset. Unfortunately he got so caught up in the game that he
didn't notice that his $95,000 house was on fire. By the time
neighbors alerted him, it was too late. It presumably was of little
consolation that the Padres won 5-1.
