Daphne, a senior, led the Wootton High volleyball team to its fourth straight state Class AA championship, and was first in Montgomery County in both hitting aces and serving aces. The Patriots were 56-0 in her four years as a starter.

Warren, a senior quarterback on the Hempstead High football team, led the Tigers to their third straight Nassau County Conference I championship with a 34-0 victory over Long Beach. He was 27-0-1 in three seasons as the starting quarterback.

Craig, a junior on the Clayton High football team, set an official state record for most PATs in a season, 36, two more than the old mark. He also set a conference mark for most PATs in a game when he kicked seven against Franklinton.

Cindy, 15, who is the U.S. junior ladies figure skating champion, won the world title in Kitchener, Ont., Canada. She finished first in both the short program and free skating events to beat runner-up Susanne Becher of West Germany by .2.

KRISTIN RYAN
NOBLESVILLE, IND.
Kristin, who is a senior on the Noblesville High School golf team, led the Millers to a 19-0 season and the state championship. She was the medalist in all but three of the matches in which she competed during the past season.

GINA LeBLANC
CARIBOU, MAINE
Gina, a senior all-Eastern Maine halfback on the Caribou High School soccer team, led the Lady Vikings to a 17-0 season and the state Class A championship. She had four assists in Caribou's 6-0 win over Greely in the final.
