Stanley, a sophomore at Princeton, won the national men's amateur squash singles championship in Philadelphia on Feb. 16. Two weeks later he won the U.S. intercollegiate singles championship in New Haven, Conn.

Sheary, a fifth-year senior at the University of Miami, became the first pitcher in Hurricane history to throw a perfect game, striking out 12 batters en route to a 7-0 victory over Southern Illinois-Carbondale in Coral Gables, Fla.

Lisa, a senior at Cardinal O'Hara High, set meet records in two events, the 200-yard IM (2:10.78) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.97) to lead the Lions to the national Catholic swimming and diving championship in Villanova, Pa.

Matt, a 138-pound senior wrestler at Lakeshore High, defeated Scott Bolan of Eaton Rapids 4-2 to win his third consecutive state Class B championship and end his season with a 53-0-1 record. Matt finished his high school career at 168-13-1. His brother, Jason, a 112-pound Lakeshore junior, decisioned Pat Wyse of Bullock Creek 8-2 to win his second straight Class B title and remain undefeated this season with 54 wins, 39 of which were pins. Jason's career record stands at 141-7.
