Meili, 24, set a world record in rifle marksmanship for the women's three-position event at the Cuban World Cup with a score of 684.4, 1.2 points better than the mark set by Vesela Letcheva in 1986. Meili also has eight U.S. records.

Todd, a St. Pius High senior, won his third straight Class AAA tennis title by beating Sartan teammate Dominic Roderiguez 6-3, 6-4. Todd finished the season with a 26-0 record and had a four-year mark of 104-5.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILL.
Cheryl, 18, a senior at Hersey High School, defeated Amy Geraldson of Evanston High 11-3, 11-2 to win her 51st consecutive IHSA badminton singles match, in Evanston. She completed her four-year career with an 87-18 record.

Todd, a senior at Trafton Academy, scored 26 TDs as a running back and receiver, hit .487 as the DH for the Class AA state baseball champs, high-jumped 6'5", second in the state, and averaged 16 points as a basketball guard.

Brian, 23, an Army specialist 4 stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and Greg, 25, a PFC at the same base, became the first pair of brothers to win All-Army and Armed Forces boxing championships. Brian, who recently won his third consecutive U.S. amateur 106-pound crown and has a 107-20 record, won the light flyweight division when his opponent retired in the second round. Greg, whose record is 97-18, won the welterweight championship by decision.
