Bill, a junior attacker for the Wilton High lacrosse team, paced the Warriors to the state finals and a 15-4 record with 76 goals, believed to be a state record, and 54 assists. He had 25 points in the three state tournament games.

Huber, who will be a junior at Villanova this fall, set an NCAA record in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:54.41 at the NCAA track championships, in Baton Rouge, La. Ranked No. 4 nationally, she also holds the indoor NCAA title.

BRYAN, TEXAS
Stonebraker, 37, a junior at Texas A & M, became the oldest person to win a college division National Archery Association championship when he beat Mark McKinney in Mays Landing, N.J. He also won the U.S. intercollegiate indoor title.

ST. CLOUD, FLA.
Dana, 11, hit .889 and pitched seven no-hitters in a row, to lead First Federal to a 20-0 record and the District III major fastpitch softball Little League title. She struck out 116 and gave up four hits in 45⅖ innings.

Brad, 18, and Brent, 17, won state golf and tennis titles, respectively, on the same day to become the first singles champs from Keokuk in those sports. Brent, seeded No. 4, beat No. 2 Brian Launderville of Denison 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 for the Class 1-A state tennis title, in West Des Moines. Brad earned medalist honors in the Class 4-A state golf championship, in Iowa City, when he tied Waverly-Shell Rock's Todd Reinhardt at 149 for 36 holes at Finkbine Golf Club and won a three-hole playoff.
