Johnson, 20, beat Jimmy England of Gastonia, N.C., 10 and 9 for the U.S. Amateur Public Links title in Cincinnati. He also won the Massachusetts Amateur, to become the first to win the state's open, junior and amateur crowns.
Kathleen, 18, anchored the winning teams in the 800-, 1,600-, and 400-meter relays, the last two in state high school record times of 3:49.14 and 47.28, respectively, as she led the Beaumont School to a second straight girls' Class AAA track title.
Gloria, a freshman at South Carolina, won a second consecutive State Open singles tennis championship after leading Amity Regional High to the state Class LL title. Gloria was 62-0 in four years of varsity competition.

Pisciotta, 56, won six age-group (55-59) gold medals at the Masters Swimming Short Course Nationals. Her 1:26.87 in the 100-yard breaststroke equaled her winning time in a Honolulu high school meet in the same event 39 years ago.
