Dollar, 40, became the first women's college volleyball coach to win 600 matches when Southwest Missouri State defeated Baylor 12-15, 15-11, 15-0, 16-14. The Bears have had 20 or more victories in 15 of her 16 seasons at the school.

Terry, a senior running back at Tabb High, rushed for 204 yards in a 61-14 win over Poquoson High. That gave him 6,684 career yards rushing to break by 159 the state career rushing record set by Ricky Bailey from 1979 to '82.

ENGLEWOOD, COLO.
Laura, a third-grader at Willow Creek School, won the eight-year-old females' age group of the Rainbo Ironkids Triathlon National Championship. Laura swam 100 meters, biked 3.2 miles and ran 1,100 yards in 20:25.

WASILLA, ALASKA
Chris, a senior at Wasilla High, ran 3.1 miles in Anchorage's Kincaid Park in 15:49 to defeat Jake Bartholomy by 31 seconds, thus becoming the first runner to win three consecutive Alaska schoolboy cross-country titles.

GUILFORD, CONN.
Tina, a senior goalie for the Guilford High soccer team, shut out Hand High 0-0 for her 42nd shutout, breaking the national girls' scholastic record, which had been shared by Erin Millikin and Kris Farrell, both of California.

Caruso, a 47-year-old professional fisherman, won the Hunter class at the national score shooting championship of the International Benchrest Shooters in Wapwallopen, Pa. From 200 yards away, he scored 248 out of a possible 250 points.
