Hill, 64, won the Lima women's city golf tournament for the ninth time by beating Carol Mitchell 4 and 2, and won the Shawnee Country Club women's golf championship for the 25th time, defeating Mairead Deehan 5 and 4.

Rob, a senior center halfback at Sanford High, scored three goals and two assists to lead the Redskins to an 11-0 soccer defeat of Massabesic High in Waterboro. Rob had eight goals and seven assists during the season for 13-0-1 Sanford.

KACI LENARD
BROKEN ARROW, OKLA.
Kaci, 10, broke the girls' bantam (age 10-and-under) state record for the 100-meter dash, set in 1981, by 0.14 of a second with a 13.98, and the regional mark in the long jump, established in 1988, by 9½" with a leap of 14'½".

VINCE MARTINEZ
EDEN, WYO.
Vince, a senior running back and linebacker at Farson High, ran for 214 yards, caught a 60-yard TD pass, kicked a 27-yard field goal and three extra points, and was in on 25 tackles in a 31-0 Pronghorn win over Encampment High.

LYNN SUWINSKI
STERLING HEIGHTS, MICH.
Suwinski, 20, earned gold medals in figure skating at the U.S. roller skating championships and at the U.S. Olympic Festival, despite having a fractured right ankle there. She won the same event at the World Artistic Roller Skating meet.

MIKE McMAHON
EAU CLAIRE, WIS.
McMahon, 41, a maintenance man, pitched six shutouts, including a no-hitter and a 2-0 shutout of Roos of Washington, D.C., in the finals, to lead the Bank of Melrose fast-pitch softball team to the ASA national masters championship.
