Julie, a senior forward on the Langford High basketball team, scored 33 points and had 19 rebounds to lead the Lions to a 60-49 defeat of Warner High and the District 2B title. She averaged 28.9 points and 13.6 rebounds a game in a 23-3 regular season.

CONCORD, MASS.
Marcy, a senior field hockey goalie for the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn., shut out 17 of the Bearcats' 18 opponents this season, including a 2-0 win over Phillips Exeter Academy of Exeter, N.H., in the New England prep school title game.

ELMHURST, ILL.
Williams, 44, a pitcher for Spring Inn of the Elmhurst Park District 14" CoRec Softball League for players age 18 and over, led his team to its 11th consecutive undefeated season by going 11-0. Over the past 12 years, Williams is 64-0.

EMMANUEL CLARK
JAMESTOWN, OHIO
Emmanuel, an eighth-grader at Greenview Junior High, rushed for 1,004 yards on 82 carries and scored 17 touchdowns and a two-point conversion to lead the Rams to a 7-0 record. He scored 104 of Greenview's 172 points on the season.

LAKE CITY, FLA.
Haley, 21, won the modern pentathlon national junior (age 21 and under) title for the second time in three years by placing first in the shooting competition, second in the fencing, third in the equestrian riding and fourth in the run and the swim.

BECKY CANNON
LITTLETON, COLO.
Becky, 16, a center-striker for the Riverside Renegades girls' soccer team, scored three goals, all on headers, to clinch a 1-0 tournament final win in Virginia and two other finals, by 1-0 and 2-0 scores, in Colorado. She had 31 goals this season.
