McKINLEYVILLE, CALIF.
Stephens, 47, won her eighth consecutive Humboldt County women's amateur golf title, her 12th overall, by shooting a three-round total of 250 at the Eureka, Beau Pre and Baywood country clubs.

N. OLMSTEAD, OHIO
Kalinoski, a senior soccer midfielder, had a goal and three assists in leading North Carolina to wins over Virginia and Wisconsin and its sixth NCAA title in a row. She set NCAA season (28) and career (51) assist marks.

Tom Hawke
RIDGEWAY, ONT.
Hawke, 20, had five goals and three assists and was tournament MVP as he led St. Catharines to its second straight Canadian junior box A lacrosse title. The A's beat the Victoria Eagles 9-8 in OT in the decisive game.

Christine Stanton
SWANSEA, MASS.
Stanton, 39, coached the Case High girls' volleyball team to its 100th win in a row, a 15-4, 14-16, 15-5 defeat of Dighton-Rehoboth High. In her 14 years as coach, she has guided the Cardinals to a 291-29 record.

Ray Herman
HELLERTOWN, PA.
Herman, 53, guided Easton High to its 13th district cross-country title for boys during his 25 years as coach at the school. His Red Rovers have a 408-62 dual-meet record, including a 27 0 mark this season.

David Dotson
MORENO VALLEY, CALIF.
David, 17, a Valley View High running back, broke the state single-game rushing mark by gaining 507 yards on 27 carries in a 56-0 win over Rim of the World High. He has also set state season (3,523) and career (7,246) marks.
